African Grandmothers: The Roots and The Light

In Africa, the HIV/AIDS epidemic has orphaned millions of children, leaving them to be cared for by their grandmothers. Because of thei age and lack of skills, these grandmothers have virtually no means of earning money to care for these orphans. They have buried their own sons and daughters because of AIDS, and now with the help of The Nyanya Project, grandmothers are learning skills to earn enough money to raise these innocent orphans and to keep their families together.
